Christmas Day
Absolutely the best yet. My mum brother and partner (Holly) came as well as the in-laws. We had a great day too. Check Sam having his hair done at Rubys dressing table!
We leisurely opened the presents (Amanda cried) then went for a drink at the Liberal club in Meltham (don’t ask). Then all back to ours for a frankly excellent Christmas meal. Spicy parsnip soup then the traditional meal - with a choice of ham, turkey or beef.
Followed by drinks and then THE BEST DOCTOR WHO EVER!!! My God, how good??
Then we manfully tried to watch G&S and Catherine Tate but fell asleep.
I spent the night with my Ruby-Loo as Sis-in-law slept with the wife.
All in all a rocking day. All thanks to Amanda and the family.
